Blue-bloods should be able to tap donors to gain an advantage in funding (legal and not legal) just like they always have.

OTOH, seems like one rich person can elevate a school by providing a ton of funding (legal and not) more now than in the past. Hence TTU, SMU, maybe BYU, etc. are in the process of being elevated. OR was elevated by one guy, so was Okie State. Maybe that kind of thing will become more common, who knows?
