Envy is a sign you’ve made it.

B12 teams hate us because we cashed in a golden ticket even though we were middle class on the field. No matter how you cut it we are basically the 30th best program brand historically. Yet here we are with a certain future.

B10 teams like Illinois, Iowa, Ohio State hate us because they used to take any recruit they wanted and they know we are ascending.

SEC teams hate us because we’ve either stolen attention/success they used to get (Ark, Aub, Tenn, SC, Ole Miss) or we are objectively a different cultural flavor
That represents change. They would rather play a program they have history with, can you blame them? (LSU, Bama, Ga…)
