Let me explain it to you... Gayness and Gay sex is disgusting and a abomination to nature. So the dislike and disgust of this genetic misstep was coded easily into religious beliefs.

It was a easy way to rid the populace of the genetic mutation under the guise of religion and it helped the tribal and village communities keep sanity.
