Went to the NE this summer and all the BBQ I saw (didn't eat at any) were replicating the hipster texas BBQ culture and a few that looked like KC-style.

Once the older generations fade away, I think a lot of people, especially in the southeast will be cooking dry ribs and wondering why their parents used to eat steamed pulled pork doused in vinegar
