of my post which painted American Christianity as a frau . The historic figure to whom they pledge their allegiance taught that in life one has a choice to follow either of two masters as he stated several times that one cannot serve two masters. American Capitalism demands that one's devotion focus on material acquisition and the material world. Jesus taught of the spiritual world, the kingdom of God. American Christians striving in the Capitalist System primarily serve one master and give at best lip service to the one Jesus recommended, as it were. Again, one cannot serve two masters.
