Any child born in the United States is an American citizen. I would say that because that's what the constitution says.

I don't like that it says that. I don't think it's what they really wanted. But that's what it says even if it's not what they meant.

And I'm not interested in people looking at personal diaries or letters from 200 years ago to say that well they really meant for it to be this or that or something else.

It says what it says.
