I went to class and the professor was talking about it, I got the impression we weren't covering any material so I went back to the frat and remember watching the coverage on TV. I was happy to be able to leave class and didn't grasp the gravity in the moment, zero perspective or clue at that point in my life.

I remember going back to another class that afternoon and seeing some rags ride by on bikes and people yelling obscenities at them.
