That is part of the problem. They want to sell it to be very similar to meat, when it is not even close, and they call it as such.
If you want to call an an alternative protein, that is fine, but they are trying to go after the meat market and kind of double fail.
The things that could be close is lab meat, because it does take actual muscle tissue and grows it in the lab.
