Some fled to New York as well.
When I worked in the Texas Legislature, to stop the Tom Delay redistricting the Texas Democrats fled to a Holiday Inn in Ardmore, Oklahoma and had their meals at the adjoining Denny's.
Regardless of your political lean, you have to admit their escape plans have improved.
