in 2023 and the year prior (2022) Cook had thrown for 2700 yards 14 tds and 7 ints and the team was 6-7.

Going into 2023 season after the fall camp, Drink said that he would give both QB's snaps against South Dakota because he wasn't settled on a starting QB.

Both played against SD except Horn was not really given any opportunity to throw the ball and attempted only 5 passes while Cook attempted 21.
