No, The Palestinians are mostly Sunni but not overly supported by the Arab nations which are Sunni as well. countries such as Saudi, Jordan, Egypt have been overly concerned about the Iranian Style of government catching hold in their countries. The Iranians have gained a lot of influence in the Arab street by challenging Israel and the USA.
