the start date for most of them. They did have the effect of importers pre-ordering inventory and temporarily raising supply, which would tend to keep prices lower, although demand has stepped up to meet the larger supply. Both importers and end users are buying stuff early because they know prices are going to increase once the tariffs take effect. If Trump keeps delaying the start date, though, who knows...it may bring on another later ge batch of pre-orders.
