make the case that store personnel are not structural engineers and are not qualified to assess the safety of the structure, since practically every structure of that age have structural deficiencies. Just about every home of that age also has sloping floors, some kind of foundation leaks, stress fractures, but we live in them anyway. If they failed to notify "corporate" that customers were concrned and had pics/vids, then that is a different matter.
