Certainty is that most of us will be questioning how whatever ends up being the lineup makes any sense, that two or three talented guys who could really contribute will be almost totally wasted, and on a game to game basis there will be wild fluctuations in rotations and peoples roles. We know for certain that is part of how Gates manages a season. Unpredictability is the defining characteristic of his program, at least thus far.

So even if I’m right, it will change. And it’s way more likely the actual correct answer is some combination that nobody will guess or could even envision being the right set of players.
