Have taken a few lengthy roadtrips in the past year

States that have better maintained highways than MO:

kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, Indiana, Kentucky, Minnesota

Same as MO: Arkansas, Tennessee

Worse than MO: Illinois

MO is definitely near the bottom compared to surrounding states
