Basically all they have done is salaried the players by giving them even more money....money from the university. The NIL deals will continue, if regulated by any governing body with a penalty, a lawsuit will be coming, and the governing body will lose. Nothing has changed, the only thing that has changed is players will now receive a guaranteed fixed income from the university to play along with NIL deals. The university with the most NIL money still wins. The NFL is going to have a hard time getting prospects to leave before their senior season even more so now.
