I used to carry a 60 degree and I almost always regretted using it. The margin for error is very narrow. The only time it's necessary is hitting over a bunker on the short side of a green. The drawback is you need to commit to practice using it. My belief is I'd rather practice with fewer clubs and have confidence in each when I was hitting.
