expensive storing data is currently? and hiring people to manage that data and manage requests for that data?
Missouri law already requires recording suspect's during custodial interrogations for pretty much all serious crimes.
But there is no law requiring recording INTERVIEWS and there's a big distinction between an interview and an interrogation.
The FBI doesn't do piddly investigations so I do agree that they should be required to record suspect interrogations and probably should be required to have body cams for most other interviews.
but to require an interview be recorded of ALL police interviews of every Karen complaining there are kids riding bicycles down the sidewalk is a bit much imo.
