If you take a resplendent, glorious human being and turn down the awareness to near zero, that leaves the ego and the mind.
These are no better than AI.
Capable of being filled with information, but never capable of wisdom.
The true answer is understanding why awareness has become so muted.
Is the '97% junk DNA' related. Are these just damaged human bodies, or is there a spiritual element as well?
The true answer does not lie in experiments that prove a material percentage of the population are vicious and dangerous.
The true answer turns awareness back on through some sort of treatment or experience.
As usual 'orthodoxy' leads to dead ends marked with signs containing big words which make the author famous or maybe even rich - and many - using only their minds - stop there thinking they've learned something useful, not realizing they instead been thrown into the tar pit of 'accepted conclusions' with no cure or solution actually given.
Many of our 'disciplines' are exactly like this, dead-end money factories for near soulless 'practitioners'.
Once you realize this the prison planet can start to look a little ghoulish.
The Buddhist pointings back to a personal relationship with God isn't a bad start on the path out - but any personal relationship with God that avoids the numbing practices of the organized religions is also a good start...
