Unless there were views other than what ESPN showed on air, I don’t know how they could conclusively tell that the heel of the players right foot did not touch the edge of the plate or the black on the plate. Because anything after that means nothing. Doesn’t matter if her teammate assisted her back to touch the plate. Doesn’t matter if the rule is unable to be challenged. Because they never should have conclusively said that she did not touch home plate…from what we were shown on tv.

Please explain why this message is being reported.
