I disdain those who virtue signal by being a volunteer, I'm not a chump I got better things to do!!! I work to help the Mentally ill daily and get paid for it. My free time is mine and precious. Why would I waste my limited off time by helping the Lazy and Shiftless I do not know?

Helping a person you know and have personal contact with is the decent and morally proper thing to do... but just volunteering for some organization or cause is moronic.... the grifting and nefarious activities in most of those organizations or the unrighteous causes parading as wholesome is rampant....
