the CBO hates when taxes are cut b/c they assume tax revenue is going to plummet. Also, the DOGE cuts couldn't have been put in the "big beautiful" bill. With that being said, I wish mandatory spending would have been slashed, but neither party wants that attached to them. You'll need a party who doesn't care about being re-elected for the sake of trying to actually save the country.
