(quietly and with restraint) 'It's possible that the structure of this building has been compromised by a chemical reaction.'

As opposed to yelling 'Fire!'

Emotion is designed to provide an indicator of urgency.

When that urgency is there, it's appropriate to rachet up that emotion so people understand the situation is serious.

The stoics all died. Stoically I'm sure.

Please explain why this message is being reported.
