The radio news just led with an ominous sounding story that because of Trump's "Big, Beautiful Bill" 80,000 people in Wisconsin may lose their food stamp benefits. They made it sound very alarming. Then in the story they explained this was because recipients would now have to verify they qualify and that if they don't have children, and are able bodied, they are working at least 80 hours PER MONTH.
In other words, they are kicking deadbeats off the food stamp rolls and that is supposedly troubling. Our media is so irresponsible.
