(which I agree is better than under the table, which is how all of today's blue bloods bought their tradition they still live off) and still lament the change it makes fundamentally to College Football across the board. It makes it where players playing for your school has really nothing much to do with playing for your school. They're just getting a bag. That's what made it different than professional sports and made it mean something. Now it's more just a bunch of dudes who are there b/c of whatever your budget is, and any of them can be gone the next year. There's no following someone and a group of kids as they rise up through college anymore.
