Those who need to get pushed or otherwise convinced to vote don't know what the hell they're doing and are easily malleable. Personally, I don't give a crap about turnout. Everyone has the right to vote, but the results are better when only the informed vote. Seems to me it's more efficacious to push for informing the electorate than pushing idiots to the polls.
