They probably would have lost that game earlier this year. While the overall result is disappointing, I'm sure that the players and the coaches feel it just as much, if not more. I do believe they've competed hard and not quit. We have lost a lot of close games. I think the players coming back next year will be better, having gone through the adversity of this season. While I realize that my perspective is subjective, I prefer to think that the glass is half full. Also, don't forget five key players with injuries this year certainly impacted the number of victories.
