My belief is that, if Mizzou cared much for a well rounded AD in this new environment, the Big 12 is way more Mizzou’s level. However, MU is in the SEC for the higher football and hoops profile, and will sacrifice the rest to make sure those 2 sports continue to be a positive source of student and alum engagement. We will see how it works out. Early in the new NIL world order it has been pretty decent for football and ok for MBB. A disaster for baseball and increasingly worrisome for softball. Gymnastics has been okay although still a losing SEC record. VB will be ok, I think. Everything else is there for Title 9 and NCAA compliance as best as I can tell.
