things. One, schools withdraw from NCAA, or two, the NCAA governance committee just decides to abandon a lot of the rules. Otherwise, they'll continue to have the right to set eligibility criteria - the O'Bannon lawsuit did nothing to curtail that. The big guys may think that they can go on their own, but my guess is the next phase that you'll see is closer to the UK thing. U's will outsource their NIL to a 3rd party/LLC set up to do that, so the U has no liability and the negotiations and terms will be set by those groups.
