with all the different residential to commercial and industrial crap energy sources it is almost impossible.

That is the business I am in and for the most part when it gets bad, they drop the unreliable source which causes even more problems.

The $ Billions spent keep me in business ;-) and it will only get worse
Personally I say leave it on the line, brown out everyone and kill all electronic, motors, compressors, etc. and then maybe people will wake up but still never understand

Oh and I forgot it results in burned down conductors to top it all off
