Seems like they may have lost momentum on getting rid of the department of Education.

To me, Congress had a chance to throw up a bill saying it was done. Get people a chance to actually vote on it.

Will it all happen in one year, no, but that would have sent a signal for sure.

The three big ticket items are SS, Medicare, and defense. Given defense has basically never passed an audit, how is that not high on the DOGE list, I do not know.
