Get rid of the NCAA, they are useless. Set up a new governing body for FB and BB to negotiate with the players union and address NIL, portal, and paying players. Bargain collectively and have a contract between the parties. Then each player will have a contract with the school.

Salary caps will have to be part of the deal for any semblance of parity to exist. And NIL needs to be restricted to genuine endorsement deals that are not additional salary.

The genie is out of the bottle and isn't going back in. It will never be the way it was. I think they can still save fan interest, but the clock is ticking.
