While an incredible attribute and led us to a lot of wins, I'm just not seeing his game translating to the next level either.

The NFL is about quickly processing things presnap and in the few seconds after the ball is snapped. Ball has to come out and accurately into tight windows. Any hesitation and you're eaten alive. Elite athletic ability is able to mask not being great at this to some degree. Cook is an athlete, but he's not Cam Newton in his prime.
