The cost of modernizing a 1920’s design would likely be astronomical. And given the transfer portal, NIL, the House Settlement requiring all players be compensated and a general increase in the cost of fielding a team (i.e. coaching salaries) and the relatively low amount of revenue generated by the Tiger AD (compared to Texas, aTm, Georgia, Bama, etc), spending hundreds of million on Memorial Is no big deal, right?
