"Promoting transgender initiatives" is deleterious to society on multiple levels. Promoting the lie that transgender are a different sex than they actually are is harmful to the people with gender dysphoria, which is in face a delusion, a mental illness. The government has been forcing the lie that men with the delusion that they are women are in fact actually women down the throats of everyone else in society. They are forcing women to compete in sports against biological men. Girls who have trained in sports for years are losing the scholarships that they have worked so hard for and are entitled to. Girls' sports records are routinely broken by men who are now listed as the best women in sport after sport and in school after school. Women have been injured playing against the bigger, stronger men who believe, or who claim to believe that they are women. Women are being forced to shower with biological men and share locker rooms with them. Some are forced to sleep in the same hotel rooms with men when their teams travel. Women are being forced to share prison cells with men, some of whom are convicted rapists and other variations of sex offenders. Girls throughout the school systems are being forced to share bathrooms with boys/men, and women and girls are forced to share bathrooms with men at stores and restaurants and other public places. Physical assaults, including rape has been occurring on at an ever increasing rate in all of the above situations.

In similar fashion, businesses and schools and government agencies have all been aggressively pressured into hiring transgenders and homosexuals in all hiring situations. They are putting less qualified and even unqualified people in important jobs and are putting peoples safety and lives at risk in the process.

The schools are in fact encouraging kids in 'transitioning', which is itself a lie, and in creating a barrier between children and their parents. They are using our tax dollars to turn our children against us. Schools are intentionally collaborating on hiding 'transitioning' from parents as long as they can, sometimes right up until surgery or hormone treatment starts. Children who require a parent's signature to receive an aspirin at school are considered competent to decide that they will go on puberty blockers without their parents knowing about it. The teachers and administrators can and do lie to the parents to conceal these critically important issues from them.

Parents who don't go along have had their children taken away from them. "Misgendering" their child can put them into nightmare situations very quickly.

It undermines families, the basic building block of society, and encourages more mental illness. I heard a psychologist say that families coming to him with issues relating to their children with gender dysphoria has "exploded" in recent years. Not all that long ago it was very rare, almost unheard of, but now it has become very common. Suicide rates among the young has exploded in similar fashion, as has a major jump in mental illness in general.
