that have mental health issues where they experience dysmorphia towards their genitals.

There are also people who experience dysmorphia towards limbs or other body parts and wish them to be amputated. But it is addressed as a mental issue. Transgenderism is a mental issue. It doesn’t devalue them as people, and medical science is incapable of changing their biological sex. But that doesn’t mean it should be denied it is a mental health issue.

Mental health issues should not be shamed. Pretending transgenderism is not a mental health issue is an act of shaming mental health issues.
