wages. The real minimum wage is, and always has been, $0. A lot more people make the real mininum wage when eggheads like Rick Taylor get their way.
And what's with conflating the idea of "safety net" with a retirement plan? A safety net is to catch someone falling and preventing them from the calamity of hitting the ground. They quickly get out of that net and go about their business. The safety net is not a place to set up shop.
