The use of the term, "Redneck" isn't necessarily offensive. I identify as a redneck from rural Missouri and am very proud of my status. However, if it is used by a non-rural person with the intention of demeaning a normal Missourian, it is no less offensive than a white guy calling a black guy the N-word.
