Gates put together a good roster this season. He came close last season but lost out on all his top targets. With NIL, it’s a complex new world if recruiting and he turned his roster around in one season.
Dennis Gates is not a good basketball coach, however. He can’t draw up ab effective play, makes poor lineup decisions, cannot come up with strategy to adapt to opponent strengths. He’s all fluff, no substance. He can’t draw get some good athletes to play street ball. That’s it.
