and it will be very hard for him to recover in time. Lots of very harmful (to his credibility) video out there, all the scolding and such. He would have to say "mea culpa" about a lot of things and I don't see it in him.

Newsome is desperately trying to pull off the same trade (although from a deeper hole) and has 10x the skills to do so - and I don't think he will pull it off, either.

Whoever it is will be someone who resisted coming out in support of Kamala and kept distance from the Biden mess. Hard to say who that is but there will be someone.
