Illegal Daddy gets deported and is separated from US citizen Mommy and child.

How is this different than Bank Robber Daddy gets sent to prison and is separated from non-bank robber Mommy and child?

In the case of Illegal Daddy getting deported, the entire family can decide to move with Daddy to his home country. Not so in the case of Bank Robber Daddy.
