Trump didn't want any of it.

He didn't want the economy shut down by Democrats at the state & local levels and he made that abundantly clear.

But they did, and then they passed a huge stimulus bill through the Congress they controlled.

Trump had no choice but to sign it because Americans were suffering financially... but the economic crisis was 100% manufactured by Democrats.

It was entirely their fault.
