should reach price parity with ICE vehicles in 2026. Charging speeds and energy density are increasing as well. Longevity of batteries has also been better than predicted.

Bottom line: even if oil prices come down & government incentives go away, EVs may become very competitive with ICE vehicles very soon. They do have some advantages.
