Increasing annual NIH biomedical research investments will save and improve the lives of millions of people and save many billions in medical and disability costs. I strongly urge both the public and politicians to support higher levels of biomedical research.
Luke Curtis, M.D., is a medical researcher who has 124 medical journal publications. He lives in Jefferson City, and was formerly a biochemistry graduate student at Mizzou.
