would be bad to the economy, and the bigger the entity that closes, the worse it would be for the economy. What does that have to do with whether or not something should be funded.

By the way, the federal government and military is in the Constitution as something that should be provided by the Federal Government, so I would be ok paying taxes for that.

There is nothing about healthcare or roads in the Constitution, so those should be handled more locally or private.
