First of all the definition of wasteful spending is not "any spending I don't like" (or more precisely -any spending that is not on military or spying or
punitive actions (we no longer are a nation of laws so you can't really say law enforcement.
Wasteful spending is something like - we could have bought an F-35 for 500 billion, but somehow we spent a trillion on it. Or we bought 500 million in life saving supplies and food but let it spoil to score some absurd political point.
Second of all Doge was neither elected nor duly appointed (oh I forgot we are no longer a nation of laws.) and thus has zero authority or legality to anything of what they are doing.
Third of all they have been busted for either lying about or not having a clue what they are really doing.
Or most likely-both.
Fourth of all -spending is the legislative branch
and once appropriated not under the scrutiny of future Presidents who don't like what his predecessor signed into law. Only in the future.
Fifth of all there is zero transparency or accountability to what they are doing.
Sixth of all, they are not even cutting spending , just misdirecting it.
Now is there anything I said that you disagree with?
