Not sure if he had the name recognition to do it that quickly. Being Jewish will now severely hurt him with the current dem base, and the revival of the sham suicide case in PA may be something that bites him hard.

Newsom may have been the quick answer, but the guy just screams "I am a less ethical John Edwards." But I think he would have been the panic choice because of name recognition and money.
