Children don’t have to change who they are until and unless they want to. Depending on their home country, they may beeligible for dual citizenship.

Aliens aren’t placing the obligation. The Constitution is.

I’m not sure I see how that’s bad. Is assimilation necessary to citizenship?

If that’s true, then birthright citizenship for those here legally is not bad?
