The ALA is not saying they are sexually explicit. The ALA is not arguing for sexually explicit books.

Don’t be stupid and blindly fall for the trick of the writer. The writer is dishonest in presentation. By claiming the books are sexually explicit, without providing any proof the writer can then demonize the ALA for pushing sexually explicit material on children.

A rational response then is to question if the writer’s claim of sexually explicit material exists in what the ALA is defending, not to blindly believe the writer.
