Professionally in my opinion it runs deeper than that. While he craves attention no doubt, he feels no level of humiliation and is in complete denial of his own lack of, judgement, perspective, foresight or truthfulness on the Subjects he engages in.

He has completely fabricated a False Narrative of reality and 100% believes he is correct in all things. Believing this leads to a level of confidence that borders on Narcissistic to the highest degree true, but he is not Paranoid.
